Philip has over 30 years of business, sales and marketing experience through his involvement with large global corporate organisations such as Bridgestone, Century Yuasa Batteries and Retail Food Group, having held senior positions in general management, marketing, sales management and franchising.
Philip has been associated for over 20 years with the Franchise Council of Australia and spent 5 years as a
Director on the National Board and President for the Queensland Chapter.
Philip has an associate diploma in business marketing, is an Accredited Franchise Executive, a Graduate
of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is registered with the Government as a mediator for
the "Office of Mediation Adviser"
Philip has successfully developed franchise systems for many well known brands, which include,
Donut King Australia, Century Yuasa Batteries and Bartercard Australia.
As a consultant Philip completed an expert report for KPMG in preparation for the listing of Baskin Robins.
His report was accepted by KPMG and has been recognised as an industry expert.
Currently Philip is the Chairman of “First Class Accounts” (140 franchised bookkeepers throughout
Australasia), Director of the “Touch Up Guys” (140 franchisees) and is a Franchisee for Samsara Furniture
and Homewares in Noosa.
In May 2006 Philip was appointed to the Queensland Government as a member of the Premiers “Small Business Advisory Committee”.
